Configurator Bundle Packages

Last updated 2 months ago

To accommodate many business flows around configurable productions, a specific data entity is added to the Go Eve platform. Packages, outfits, combinations, bundles are just a few examples of the naming of how this data type is referred to.

Under the name Packages, this entity is maintainable in the Business Manager.

The data entity is used to facilitate selling a grouped set of products that also include one or more configuration typed products. Packages are accompanied by package groups and collections which combined make certain production selection user interfaces and personalization possible.

Practical use cases for this are for example:

  • Selling additional products in a sales package along the main configurator product

  • Selling multiple configurator products in a grouped way optionally with a bundle price

  • Making a user flow where users get guided to configuring multiple products like in a clothing outfit

  • Selling a BOM Bill of Material list of products together, along the configuration product

  • A package can include configurator options for free and automatically
