3D Render Interaction

The 3D render and viewer interacts with the configurator options and shows the configuration in 3D.

Render Engines and Viewers

Go Eve by default supports the following render viewer engines.

  • 270 Degrees (3D)

  • HMX (3D)

  • Shapediver (Parametric 3D)

  • Flinc Productions (2D Image layering)

  • SketchFab (3D)

Additional viewers like Emersya and Vectary can be connected to the configurator engine.

Features

Key features to the 3D render viewers are

  • Rotating

  • Zooming

  • Camera Angle setup

  • Change position in canvas

  • Animations

  • Apply colors

  • Changing materials

  • User image uploads

  • Scaling (Parametric 3D only or based on predefined sizing)

  • Text input

Render Instructions

The render instructions can be used to control the 3D.

Each 3D object has named elements, addressed as “Target”. The value of the instruction is given in the “State”.

The type of change is described in the “Function”.

Available functions vary per 3D render engine.

Some example of functions are:

  • setText

  • changeModel

  • setColor

  • setTexture
